No Age – “Nouns” Album Sold Out at SCV Best Buy

Nouns cover

No Age‘s Sub Pop debut album “Nouns” was released on May 9th, and by May 12th the Best Buy on Bouquet Cyn Rd. had sold the last of their stock. Don’t worry, they have 30 more copies on order. As I have mentioned before, No Age are an LA-based punk duo who are not only vegan but also have ties to the SCV. The May 6th LA Times had a review of the Nouns album right below the review for Elvis Costello’s latest offering, “Momofuku”. On a four-star scale, Costello earned three stars while No Age got 3 ½.

Just about any given time you can find some media type talking about the band. From the New Yorker to Mtv News it seems everybody is talking about No Age. Is it too late to plug them into one of the Concerts in the Park?
